About the Role
Job details
As an Integrations Engineer, you will join our client’s dynamic tech team to support and enhance their software solutions. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in problem-solving and are eager to expand their software development skills in a supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
Software Development (50%):
- Participate in the development and maintenance of software integrations. You will specifically focus on medical device to app integrations in Python.
- Additionally, you will develop software via Airflow to enable communication between EHRs, Billing companies, Medical Labs, and our LIS.
- Collaborate with team members to refine software functionalities and improve user experience.
Implementation (40%):
- We develop software for clinical labs and as our Integrations engineer you will be integrating the lab medical devices with our software solutions
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of software integrations.
- Collaborate with labs across the world remotely to effectively integrate their medical devices
- Communicating with medical device manufacturers and teams within and outside the company to resolve blockers.
Troubleshooting/Support (10%):
- Apply technical expertise to fix code, adjust software settings, and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Quickly pinpoint software bugs, system malfunctions, and user-reported errors.
- Update software applications to enhance functionality and security.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth operation and performance of applications.
- Document troubleshooting processes and solutions for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of software engineering experience, preferably with a focus on Python.
- Serial instrument communication experience is favorable but not required
- Tech Stack: Airflow, JS, Django, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Mirth (phasing this out)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
