About the Role

Dendi is seeking a driven and accountable Account Manager with extensive clinical lab experience to join our growing Services team. This role leverages your comprehensive understanding of lab workflows to ensure customer satisfaction with the Dendi LIS (Laboratory Information System).

You will develop and maintain complex relationships with clinical labs, engage in successful customer interactions, and thrive in a dynamic startup environment. Experience with lab workflows is essential, and experience delivering enterprise software platforms to large organizations is a significant advantage.

Within 30 days: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Dendi’s LIS platform, key customer accounts, and post-sales processes.

Within 60 days: Lead customer meetings to troubleshoot issues, drive satisfaction, and collaborate on customer success initiatives.

Within 90 days: Take ownership of the implementation process for new customers, lead demos, set timelines, and advocate for product enhancements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage all post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction, leading to renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Lead LIS implementations and define success criteria.
  • Assist with sales demos for prospective and existing customers.
  • Enhance the implementation process for new customers.
  • Set timelines, orchestrate meetings, and advocate for product development to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to maintain strong customer engagement.
  • Become a trusted partner and advocate by demonstrating ROI and providing guidance for success.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute customer success and expansion plans.
  • Identify and communicate product and customer interaction improvements.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to enhance our offerings.

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment (e.g., lab manager, technician, accessioner).
  • Outstanding executive presence and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-starter with a strong initiative.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time (2-3 days every 3 months).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in software customer success, account management, or sales.
  • Passion for healthcare diagnostics.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Certifications from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLC), and American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) / Medical LAboratory Scientist (MLS)
    • Certified Laboratory Manager (CLM) 
    • Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) 
    • Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) 
    • Specialist in Microbiology (SM) 

Compensation: 

  • $70,000 USD – $90,000 USD
  • Annual performance bonus
